Nationwide fund expands real estate portfolio

Main Line Equity Partners has expanded its real estate holdings by investing in Qualified Opportunity Zones (“QOZs”) through a Qualified Opportunity Fund led by the Arden Group. QOZs are new investment and economic development tools that connect private capital with low-income communities nationwide in select metropolitan statistical areas (“MSAs”) that are projected to exceed the national average for millennial population growth, white collar job growth, education, medical, and technology hubs.

Founder and Managing Partner, Chris Randazzo, added, “In addition to significant tax benefits, this QOZ project provides a vehicle to reinvest investor proceeds from recent portfolio company exits.”
