Philanthropic initiative of Main Line Equity Partners donates time and money
GIVE PHILLY, a philanthropic initiative of Main Line Equity Partners, donates time and money to support nonprofit organizations across the Philadelphia area. In 2021, the initiative has supported the following organizations:
Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP): GIVE PHILLY committed $250,000 over the next two years. CSFP is a privately-funded program whose mission is to provide children from under-resourced Philadelphia families with financial access to quality, safe, K-8th grade, tuition-based schools, thereby increasing their long-term economic and social success. CSFP grants need-based, partial scholarships through a random lottery. CSFP currently serves more than 5,000 children enrolled at over 160 private and parochial schools.
Camp Sunshine: GIVE PHILLY donates multi-level support to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child’s illness. Camp Sunshine’s program is offered year-round and has the distinction of having been designed to serve the entire family in a retreat model. The program is free of charge to families and includes on-site medical support. A bereavement session is also offered for families who have experienced the death of a child from a supported illness.
The Salvation Army – Philadelphia: GIVE PHILLY supports several families every year during the holidays including gifts for Christmas. The Salvation Army has worldwide membership consisting of soldiers, officers, and adherents. Its founders sought to bring salvation to the poor, destitute, and hungry by meeting both their “physical and spiritual needs”. It operates charity shops, shelters for the homeless and disaster relief, and humanitarian aid to developing countries.
Cradles to Crayons – Philadelphia: GIVE PHILLY volunteers it’s time to serve children every year in the region with everyday essentials they need – clothing, friendship, meals. On a human level, Cradles to Crayons brings some comfort and sunshine into the life of a child in need. They work with over 24,000 families, individuals, community groups, and companies to serve over 70,000 children.
DonorsChoose: GIVE PHILLY donates money to support teachers and students in the classroom. This includes crayons, books, cleaning supplies, technology, and more to help students get back to learning.
Chris Randazzo, Founder of Main Line Equity Partners commented, “Main Line has always been a company focused on giving back to Philadelphia-area organizations who support children, adults, and families in need. We established a philanthropic entity in GIVE PHILLY from a desire to unify our charitable efforts through one body dedicated exclusively to giving back.”
