Doug Hart Joins Main Line Equity Partners

Veteran owner, operator, and advisor brings more than 25 years of proven leadership and expertise

Main Line Equity Partners today announced that Doug Hart has joined their investment team as Operating Partner. He will play an integral role managing the growth of companies within Main Line Equity Partners’ investment portfolio.

Doug brings more than 25 years of extensive experience as an Owner, Operator, and Advisor of small to mid market businesses across a wide variety of manufacturing and consumer product industries—leading Operations, Sales, and New Product Development. “I am thrilled to not only have the opportunity to join Main Line Equity Partners, but play a part in increasing the accretive value of their investment portfolio,” commented Hart.

Prior to joining Main Line Equity Partners, Doug served as Director and COO at Uretek-Archer, a privately owned composite materials manufacturer for the Medical Devices, Aerospace, Military and Outdoor Recreational products industries; established Hart Advisory Group, a successful small to mid market business advisory firm focused on driving client sales, income, and enterprise growth through best of breed operating practices across all phases of operations; and owned Reeves Brothers, Inc., an international manufacturer of engineered industrial consumable products with five divisions and 1,200 employees in the U.S., Europe, and Asia—at which time he served as President and COO for all operations of Reeves Automotive Airbag Group, where he oversaw the startup and growth of this division into the largest airbag fabric systems manufacturer in North and South America. Doug was also an AVP of the Pension Fund Investment Group for Smith Barney’s Sentinel Real Estate Corporation.

Doug holds a B.S. in Economics from Hobart College. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, and the Manufacturing Association of America. Doug also served on the Advisory Board for the State of Connecticut’s Technology Incubation Program.
